As we get closer to the holiday season, our minds usually wander towards what gifts we’re going to buy and who we’re going to give them to. I like to think we also reflect on how thankful we are for our families and loved ones in these recent, difficult times. The team at the Frederick Basket Co. completely understands and sympathizes with the local community of Frederick. This holiday season, the Frederick Basket Co. wants to give back to the community and emphasize how important it is to us.
The Frederick Mission has been supporting its local community and helping those that need the most. They have become essential in providing housing, clothes, food and community. We at the Frederick Basket Co. want to recognize what they do for the city and help them in their cause. The Frederick Mission’s F.O.O.D. (Frederick Organizations Optimize Distribution) program provides meals to local food banks for the 47% of American families that struggle with food insecurity. With this fact, The Frederick Basket Co. is going to donate 25% of its proceeds to the F.O.O.D program. We’re hoping that along with our donation, the community will donate to local communities and organizations that need it the most!
Aside from giving back to the community, the Frederick Basket Co. is also introducing a new series of gifts centered around giving back! These arrangements are for that special recipient that wants to help the local community, and have a delicious arrangement.
